I finally had the opportunity to photograph my latest paintings of 2011. Although I haven’t counted the number of paintings, I believe I have painted more in 2011. Many plein air paintings, sketches, live wedding and event paintings, portrait commissions and paintings done in the studio. I continued to paint in both oils and watercolors. And the more I paint, the more I understand the importance of good drawing skills. So, I hope to draw more in 2012.
I love painting from life, but, I also do many paintings in my studio. Here are my latest studio pieces. Both originals and prints are available.

Another favorite place of mine! Wilmington. The Cape Fear riverfront is always busy with activity. You can paint the boats. Or people. Or both. Not to mention historic homes.
