En Plein Air in Cary

This was my second time participating in Town of Cary‘s Annual paint out (their 6th one).

It was a beautiful day in May! Quite warm! I completed two watercolors. Both were painted on a paper mounted on panel.

The first painting is of the Heater Park. I loved the shadows and beautiful greens of the spring. The painting is currently on the display at Annelore’s German Bakery.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The second painting is of The Cary Theater and is also on the display there! I  painted this on the Chatham Street across from the theater. I was lucky to find a shade! The downtown was busy!
